Meet the Family

Amani first job is mama to two college students.

Proudly, she has served as a volunteer Mama, Diving Mama (for many and any) every summer for nearly a decade.

As such, Amani made it her business to make sure all kids diving for the Goodman Waves (the City of Madison’s only public Swim & Dive Team) had what they needed to do well, the confidence to succeed and, in community with so many other volunteers, helped to make memories meant to last a lifetime.

She is married to Attorney Rick Burris (Dude as Amani likes to call him) who is a Public Defender and is about all things Packers, all the time.
